I was inspired by the lovely flowers that sit atop and sometimes mask the stinging nettle plant below. It reminded me of relationships or people I know that are dangerous but I pick regardless, ignorant of the pain lurking below and lasting sting. Soft washes of grey contrast with the acrylic line work in this dynamic piece.
